random thoughts on different days

sometimes i wonder how my body, my self, can contain so much unhappiness.

--

when you're going through something that's seemingly insufferable, remember it. the struggle will pass. eventually, you'll look back on it with triumph and amazement, and wonder how you survived it all. often people tell you that hard times will pass. it's good advice, but only you can give meaning to it, so that you truly understand what you thought you understood.

this book is reminding me of the times when i thought the anxiety would never pass. it still is in me. i've, however, learnt to live with it. sometimes we interact with our thoughts when we at least have the slightest inkling of what our minds have conjured up. but sometimes we just have to be observers. wait calmly and learn from your emotions. you'll figure it out.

"you were so very brave. you didn't flee from something you didn't understand."

by learning to overcome ourselves, maybe we actually learn to overcome everything. i think i've discussed this before. you are your own world. all the good and bad are perceived and felt by you. if you can exorcise the demons created by your mind, i think you'll be infinitely happy.

let's give meaning to the many axioms we hear every day.

you can be greater than your mistakes!
