pink dot

pink dot was awesome. it was eye-opening, and i felt so, so comfortable, being surrounded by loving people. there were little booths, with wonderful people explaining what their pro-lgbtq organisations did. let it be said that pink dot isn't all talk, no work.

why turn up for pink dot? it's a show of solidarity. and that itself is already impactful. showing up at pink dot surely isn't the only way to express your support, but it is one of the many ways of making a change. let this revolution gain traction. contribute to improvements.

this.. has remained in my drafts box for a long time. and. i can't believe this post couldn't have ended happily. when will we stop being hateful? it has been too, too long. i've said this for a long time, and i'm going to say this again. you are contributing to the problem as long as you think the lgbtq community doesn't deserve equal rights. and that's the absolute truth. don't even fight me on this. if you wish to be callous, be assured that you will get no pleasantries and sugarcoating.
