hard work is seldom ever pretty. but that's how we get things done! it's like love. you choose to stay because you want to make a relationship work. friendship or something romantic. i don't want something pretty. i want something worthy. i want effort. i want to work hard. --
donations and volunteer work.
hi. it's been 4 months of employment. i'm quitting in a bit, so i'm currently seeking out organisations to volunteer at.
so, i've been thinking. why do rich people not donate often! and what's my definition of rich? financially secure. if you're financially secure, i do think that you're obliged to donate. contrary to what some may feel, one's wealth is never fully theirs. you have what you have, because someone else has less of what they should have, but actually don't because they weren't in possession of the privileges you have. (this is also the reason why you shouldn't ever be arrogant.)
donate! i must hold myself to my own word, and donate once i get my first adult paycheck! or starting from now. yep.
